On behalf of everyone at Gilligan’s, we’d like to thank you for your past support of our charity golf tournament. 

 

Over the past 14 years we’ve raised over $300,000 for our charities.  Most recently, the Storm Eye Institute and the Charles P. Darby Children’s Research Institute have benefited from the money we’ve raised, thanks to you and our sponsors.  Our achievements would not have been possible without the generous support you have provided and we have an incredible amount of gratitude for all of the individuals and companies whose donations have made these efforts possible.

 

It is with regret that we inform you that we will not be hosting the tournament this year.  With the economy in the condition that it is in, we know our supporters are not able to contribute at the same level as in the past.  Each year we put on the tournament with the intention of making a substantial donation to the charities and unfortunately we don’t think it is possible to come up with the same funds this year. 

 

Once again, we thank you for your support throughout the years and we hope to gear up for another successful tournament down the road.  If you are able and would like to make a donation to the Storm Eye Institute or the MUSC Children’s Hospital, we are collecting donations.  We have set up an account specifically for donations to these charities and we would greatly appreciate any contributions you are able to provide.  Please make checks payable to Gilligan’s Charity Fund. 100% of the money will go directly to The Storm Eye and the MUSC Children’s Hospital.
